Unit 3:  Teen Numbers as Tens and Ones

In Unit 3:

*We will be counting to tell the number of objects.

*We will be comparing numbers.

* We will understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from.

*We will work with numbers 11-19 to gain foundation for place value.

*We will add and subtract within 20.

*We will classify objects and count the number of objects in each category.

*We will represent and interpret data

*We will identify, describe, create and compose shapes (squares, circles, triangle,hexagons, cubes, cones ,cylinders and spheres.)
